My passion for design began as early as eighth-grade. Being fascinated by the graphical user interfaces of the devices I would use, it inspired me to wireframe and prototype my own solutions to user experience issues in Adobe Photoshop CS4. In high school, I began learning my first programming language, Java, to make a huge step into bringing wireframes to life.
Fast forward to today, I have over 5 years of experience working on enterprise and consumer design systems, AI-powered innovations, and products made for for 2.1 million college students. This journey has been driven by my commitment to user-centered design, effective team collaboration, and a constant drive to learn.
When I’m not designing or programming, I enjoy photography, thrifting, playing video games, listening to electronic dance music, and going out to concerts with my friends (before COVID-19).
Will users understand it at a glance? What are the technical limitations? These are a few of many questions I ask myself whenever I work on a project with a team. Considering practicality at early stages reduces development costs and time.
Inspired by the precision and craft from a few industrial designers, I make sure that every detail matters. Small details like padding, text spacing, and more contribute to a cohesive and well-designed product.
Creating an experience that feels magical to a user has been a goal of mine ever since I got started in this industry. Whenever I’m working on a project, this goal is always considered in every phase of product development.

I designed, developed, and reimagined products that 2.1 million California Community College students use. Key projects include a redesign of a college application portal, redesigned a financial aid resource website, designed and developed a complex web application, and more. Along with these key projects, I influenced a cultural shift to wireframe/prototype before coding a product, kickstarted a new business unit within the company, and wrote internal documentation on accessibility and UX.
